Multicentro, the large shopping mall in downtown Desamparados, is about to get larger. The developers have begun construction of the $20 million addition of 60 sales outlets scheduled to open in November.
"We have a long list of companies interested in establishing themselves in the new facility," said Eduardo Feoli of the Corporacion Raventos, the developer.
According to Feoli the "anchor" store in the addition will be Aliss department store but the project will also include a food court, and department stores as well as smaller stalls. He added that the success of the first phase of the mall encouraged developers to add to the project.
The Proyectos ICC development company is in charge of constructing the 23,500 sq. mt. edifice.
